A-1 Self Storage Makes Monetary Donation to Noah Homes!

Sept. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- San Diego, CA – A-1 Self Storage, the premier provider of self storage in California, announced today their monetary donation to Noah Homes. Promoting security and well being, NoahHomes provides residential homes and services for adults with disabilities. It is their goal to maximize the individual’s independence by encouraging self-determination within a thriving environment of dignity, respect, personal growth, and love.

In 1979, after lengthy discussions and sharing of concerns for the children with disabilities, a group of Catholic parents came up with the idea of building a faith-based group home. With support from other parents and the local community, they were able to incorporate a Catholic facility and purchased eight acres of land in Spring Valley in 1982. A year later, Casa de Felicided was opened with a staff of four and housed six residents. Through private donations and fundraising efforts, it has since been remodeled and expanded to include three more acres, four more homes and 59 more residents. Noah Homes is a safe haven filled with acceptance like Noah’s Ark.
